The Cultural Day was celebrated at Model School of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor was the chief guest of the event.
Talking to the teachers and students of Model School, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said that Sindh is the land of historic traditions. It is our collective responsibility to promote our rich culture so the youth could be aware from the rich cultural and civilization of Sindh. Dr. Ibupoto said Sindh is the cradle of peace and harmony. The role of Sufi Saints of Sindh is remarkable in this regard. Dr. Ibupoto appreciated the performance of the students who presented their tableaus, cultural songs etc. Dr. Ibupoto commended the efforts of Principal Model School, Ms. Ghazala Niaz for arranging this event in befitting manner.
Prof. Dr. Chandan Lal Rohra, Pro-Vice Chancellor Shahdadkot Campus said the Model School is rendering marvelous academic and co-curricular activities under the patronage of incumbent Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto who is highly committed to empower the youth in right direction.

Ms. Ghazala Niaz welcomed the guests and participants in the event. She said it is our regular feature to organize the Cultural Day at the premises of the school. The purpose of culture day is to aware our students regarding the rich culture and heritage of Sindh.

Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada, Director Physical Education, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur has announced that Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur clinched third position in Prime Minister’s Talent Hunt Boys National Weightlifting League held at University of Punjab, Lahore.
On this marvelous achievement, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor extended his felicitation to the winner team of the University and especially the Chairman Sports Section & Gymkhana Dr. Inayatullah Bhatti and Director Physical Education Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada and their team. Dr. Ibupoto appreciated the endeavor of the players. He said this is the glaring evidence that our students are contributing positively in the curricular, co-curricular and sports activities.
