The decision followed a visit by Wali and his technical team to the area, arranged by the local community organization Anjuman Falah Behbood. During the inspection, Wali observed sewage mixing with water lines and issued immediate orders for repairs and the restoration of street lighting.
Continuous efforts are underway to address the long-standing issues in the colony, including the replacement of rotten water lines, upgrading the sewage system, cleaning operations, continuous water supply, and improved street lighting.
Community members present during the visit included Mumtaz Hussain Shah, Inayatullah Babar, Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, Farhan Siddiqui, Atif Faraz, Musharraf Bhai, and other PCRC representatives. They briefed Wali on the urgent problems faced by residents, which he listened to attentively and promised to resolve promptly.
The initiative marks a step forward in improving civic infrastructure and living conditions in Clifton Cantonment’s P&T Colony.
