KARACHI: Faisal Moiz Khan, President, North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI) has paid tribute to the success of the Businessman Group in the election of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and praised BMG Chairman Zubair Motiwala. Expressing his full confidence in the leadership, he said that Karachi’s business community will always support the late Chairman Siraj Qasim Teli’s mission of public service.
In a statement, NKATI president said that the office bearers of the Karachi Chamber, under the guidance of the leadership of BMG, have served the businessmen community of Karachi without discrimination. Whether it is a member of KCCI or not, Karachi Chamber became the voice of the business community at every forum and not only highlighted their problems but always played an active role in solving them.
Faisal Moiz Khan added that whether it is the problems related to taxes or the problems of high tariff of electricity and gas, Zubair Motiwala became a strong voice and not only presented the business community initiative in front of the government in a wonderful way, but also made all possible efforts to solve the problems.
“Currently the country is going through a serious economic crisis. Due to the increasing production cost of the industries, it has become very difficult to run the factories, especially due to the huge increase in the electricity and gas prices, the cost has become unbearable. has increased, but the industrial community has been forced to close down their factories, which affects domestic exports and a large number of workers are feared to be unemployed.”
Faisal Moiz Khan requested the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar that the he should adopt a business and industry friendly policy to get the country out of the economic crisis and take steps in the true sense of reducing the cost of industrial production, so that the industries continue to run smoothly and exports can increase.
