Benazir Bhutto: A Symbol of Public Service, Democracy and Equality, Says Dr. Sham Sundar K. Advani
Karachi: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Minority Affairs, Dr. Sham Sundar K. Advani, in his special message on the birth anniversary of Pakistan Peoples Party’s late leader Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, stated that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was not merely a political leader but a shining symbol of democracy, public service, tolerance and equality, who dedicated her entire life to the rights and welfare of the people of Pakistan.
Dr. Sham Sundar K. Advani said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto carried out a historic struggle for the restoration of democracy during extremely challenging circumstances and conveyed the message that nations can change their destiny by remaining committed to principles and ideals.
He stated that Benazir Bhutto played a significant role in bringing women, minorities, labourers and marginalized segments of society into the national mainstream.
He further said that the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto continues to remain a guiding force for the Pakistan Peoples Party’s politics, while her teachings continue to inspire the spirit of public service. He added that her contributions towards the protection of minority rights, promotion of religious harmony and strengthening of national unity will always be remembered.
Dr. Sham Sundar K. Advani paid rich tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on her birth anniversary for her national, democratic and public services. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for the advancement of her mission and for the establishment of a peaceful, prosperous and equal Pakistan.
