ABU DHABI: Pakistan has set a monumental target of 538 runs for Australia, in the second Test match of the two-match series, at Abu Dhabi.
Pakistan declared their second innings at 400 for 9. Australia, in reply were 47 for 1 at close of the 3rd day’s play. Babar Azam remained the top scorer for Pakistan with 99. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 81 runs.
Australia were dismissed for 145 in their first innings, replying to Pakistan’s first innings total of 282.
Pakistan needs 9 Australian wickets with two days of the Test match still remaining. If Pakistan manages to win this match they will clinch the series 1-0. First match of the series had ended in a draw.
