Karachi: Rotary Club Karachi Nexus in collaboration with Shed Foundation, a leading medical, scientific and education institution in Karachi, provided all sports equipment to the students for training in sports like Olympics. Taha Saleem, Deputy Commissioner, District Central was the chief guest at the event, and said that students should pay close attention to education and not care about the situation. He expressed his commitment to cooperate with the medical field. He said that children are our future, education and training is the responsibility of all of us and it is necessary to vaccinate them against various diseases such as polio.
On this occasion, President of Rotary Club Karachi Nexus Muhammad Ali Haider, Kauser Aslam Past President & Assistant Governor RY 2021-22 Rotary International Districts 3271, Zubair Bawaja General Secretary 2021-22 Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, and Board of Directors 2021-22 of the RCK Nexus are Syed Turab Shah, Junaid Abdul Kader, Dr. Khalid Hussain Sheikh Medical Chair 2021-22 RCK Nexus, Shoaib Arif, Saadat Parveen Khan, Sameera Izhar Educational Chair 2021-22, Nighat Arshad, Furqan Abdul Kader Director Maxims Group are present. The officials of Shed Foundations, Secretary General of Shed Foundation Riazuddin Noori, Arif Najmi, Administrator of Shed Hospital Haroon Farid, and Yaqoob Mufakkir Admin/ Hostel Incharge of Children Home were also present at the event.
Riazuddin Noori expressed his gratitude at the function and briefly introduced the shed. Ali Haider, President of Rotary Karachi Nexus expressed his commitment to further cooperate with the shed. He thanked the Deputy Commissioner, Shed Administration and students.
Ali Haider said that Dr. Aftab Imam, District Governor of Rotary International 3271 and all Rotarians are playing an important role in making education universal for which an e-library has been set up. He said that we have to bring our children back to school and equip them with knowledge as it is knowledge that brings man out of the darkness of ignorance. At the end of the ceremony, President of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus Muhammad Ali Haider presented a commemorative shield to Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem on behalf of the club.
