Karachi: A mango party and dinner was organized in honor of Rotarians by Rotarians Aslam Khaliq and Kausar Aslam. Attend by District Governor of Rotary International 3271 Muhammad Hanif Khan, PDG Professor Dr. Farhan Isa, President of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus Dr. Khalid Sheikh, Fawad Sheikh, Khurram Anis, Abdulsalam dada bhai, Fazal Karim Dada Bhai, Ali Haider, Imran Tessori, Ch. Ansar Javed, Shehsaz Sabir, Saleem Rao, MPA PPP Bariester Hallar Wasan, Wasim Vohra, Raza Tabish Faroqui, Syed Tehzeb ul Hasan Kazmi, Hameed Bhutto, Syed Tarab Shah and other Rotarians were present in large numbers.
District Governor of Rotary International 3271 Muhammad Hanif Khan said that Pakistani mangoes are famous worldwide due to their unique taste. He said that Pakistan is one of the major mango producing countries. Speaking on the occasion, PDG Prof. Dr. Farhan Essa said Mango Party is the best way to enjoy the mango season.
Mango production is severely affected due to climatic changes for which measures need to be taken. On this occasion Dr. Khalid Shaikh, President of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus said that Expo should be held in all countries to increase the export of mangoes so that Pakistani mangoes can be introduced worldwide and the country gets more foreign exchange. Convenior FPCCI / Former President Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus Ali Haider said that mango is the king of fruits which is the most produced in Pakistan. Mango is the most exported fruit which has more importance than other fruits. On this occasion, Raza Tabish Farooqui said that the government should provide maximum incentives and facilities to the exporters to increase the export of mangoes so that the country’s economy is stable.
