An exclusive seminar on ecosystems of Balochistan.

Balochistan – The largest province of Pakistan is often designated as “land of opportunities” due to the vast number of untapped, undeveloped natural resources which entice both local and international investment.

To promote optimum utilization of indigenous resources, the Government of Balochistan, is not only enabling a conducive policy environment it has also taken a pivotal role at the Pakistan Pavilion at the Expo 2020, Dubai. In-line with that intent, an exclusive seminar on ecosystems of Balochistan’s will be held at 3 pm on October 4, 2021 at the Terra Auditorium.

During the hour-long session, prominent speakers will highlight Government of Balochistan’s interventions in various areas related to ecological development. Following a brief introduction of Forest & Wildlife of the province by the Balochistan’s Representative, Mr. Ashiq Ahmed Khan, the Scientific Representative, Evk2 CNR (Italian Association) & Regional Representative, International Mountain Forum, will deliver a focused presentation on Balochistan Province – Pakistan’s hub of biodiversity treasures with learning based enjoyment opportunities for all. He will be followed by a presentation on integrated wildlife conservation & livelihoods enhancement: Trophy Hunting Model of Balochistan, by Dr. Tahir Rashid, (SPFC, LEAD Pakistan, UNDP Pakistan, WWF Pakistan, BRSP Quetta). The last presentation titled: Impact of Climate Change on Plants of Balochistan’s will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Mudassir Asrar, Member, Balochistan Public Service commission, Quetta.

The seminar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session followed by a keynote address by the Balochistan’s Representative. Come experience the Wonders of Balochistan.
