Karachi: Hamid Hussain, the PPP’s nominated candidate for the by-election as Vice Chairman, has
stated that once elected, he will address the local government issues in UC 12.
Long-standing problems such as sewage, health and sanitation, street lighting, water, and other
issues will be given top priority. He expressed these views during a corner meeting organized by local
dignitaries.
Present at the event were President of Ward 4 UC 30, Jameel Sheikh, Vice President of UC 30, Sardar
Khan, PPP Member of the Election Cell Karachi Division, Fahad Hashim, and others.
Hamid Hussain further expressed gratitude on behalf of the People’s Party leadership for the trust
shown by leaders and officials.
He praised the efforts of City Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab in addressing the problems of UC 12.
Hamid added that due to the special interest of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto
Zardari, Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, and Faryal Talpur in resolving public issues, the party is poised
to achieve a substantial majority in the upcoming general elections.
He stated that all areas in Shah Rasool Colony and UC 12 will be brought up to the level of developed
areas.
