President Dr. Arif Alvi filed the Reko Diq reference in the Supreme Court. On behalf of the President of the State, the Supreme Court will take an opinion on the agreement with the foreign company in the Recodek Reference.
It should be noted that the Federal Government had approved the Codec Reference.
On the advice of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, President Dr. Arif Alvi has filed a reference in the Supreme Court.
Earlier, President Dr. Arif Alvi, on the advice of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, approved the summary of filing a reference in the Reko Diq Project in the Supreme Court of Pakistan under Article 186 of the Constitution.
According to the House of Representatives, the Apex Committee headed by the Finance Minister and the Tethyan Copper Company Pakistan (Pvt) Limited had agreed on a framework for the settlement and rehabilitation of the Rekodic project in March this year.
The Federal Cabinet, in its meeting on September 30, approved the filing of this reference in the Supreme Court under Article 186 of the Constitution regarding certain questions of law of public importance.
