Summary of OGRA regarding the prices of petroleum products will be sent to the Ministry of Finance. According to the sources, the price of petrol is likely to increase by 15 rupees.
OGRA’s work on pricing of petroleum products is in final stages. According to the working, the price of petroleum is likely to increase by Rs.15 and diesel by Rs.18 per liter.
OGRA has prepared two proposals related to petroleum products. The prices can be maintained by reducing the levy tax on petroleum products. The prices can be increased by increasing the levy tax up to Rs 10 per litre. Ogra will send the summary of prices of petroleum products to the finance ministry tomorrow.
The Ministry of Finance will consider the proposals regarding the prices of petroleum products. The new prices are expected to be announced on July 31 after consultation with the Prime Minister.
