PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mehmood Khan said on Thursday that ‘simplicity’ is part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s mandate, and it will be followed.
While talking to media at his residence on the second day of Eidul Azha, CM KPK said that no more special privilege will be granted to anyone.
He said that now neither president of Pakistan will stay in the president house nor prime minister will reside in PM house, according to party mandate.
Moreover, he said that he is chief minister of the KPK province and ready to face the challenges.
He added that the prosperity and development of the country is the basic purpose of the party mandate and we are willing to follow it.
On August 9, former provincial minister Mehmood Khan had been selected as the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) by PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Mehmood Khan was elected to the provincial assembly from PK-9 constituency in Swat and served as sports minister from 2013-2018 in the province.
