Deepal E07: Master Changan Introduces Pakistan’s First Transformer EV

KARACHI: Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has introduced the Deepal E07, describing it as Pakistan’s first transformer electric vehicle as the company begins its wider House of Brands strategy.
The launch marks the start of a three-month rollout covering brands including Changan, Deepal, Nevo and Avatr. MCML aims to bring advanced automotive technology to different vehicle segments and customer needs.
The Deepal E07 stands out for its ability to transform between a premium SUV and a pickup truck. Deepal refers to the concept as a “Multitruck”, combining passenger comfort with practical cargo capabilities.
Designed under the leadership of Changan Global Design Vice President Klaus Zyciora, the E07 features a fastback profile and Star Ring lighting signature.
Inside, the electric vehicle offers a lounge-style cabin with Zero Gravity front seats, a rotating 15.4-inch touchscreen, augmented reality Head-Up Display and 256-colour ambient lighting. It also features an 18-speaker premium audio system and advanced voice interaction.
The E07 is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 440 kW (590 hp) and 645 Nm of torque. According to the company, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.96 seconds.
The electric SUV-pickup is equipped with an 89.98 kWh battery and offers a claimed 560 km NEDC range. Its DC fast-charging system can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes.

Following its unveiling at PAPS 2025, Master Changan Motors will begin deliveries for confirmed customer orders. The company is also opening bookings for a limited allocation of additional E07 units at an introductory retail price of PKR 16,000,000, subject to availability.
The additional units will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Display vehicles are also expected to reach dealerships across Pakistan in the coming weeks.
Speaking at the launch, Ali Damani, COO of Master Changan Motors Limited, said the E07 represents the first step in the company’s House of Brands journey and reflects its commitment to bringing innovative products to Pakistan’s automotive market.
The Deepal E07 combines electric performance, SUV comfort and pickup versatility in a vehicle designed for customers seeking a distinctive driving experience.
