IBA Karachi Breaks Ground on Islamabad Campus to Expand Higher Education

The IBA Karachi Islamabad Campus has taken a major step forward with the groundbreaking ceremony held at DHA Islamabad Phase 5 on August 19, 2026.
IBA Karachi and DHA Islamabad–Rawalpindi have joined hands to establish the new campus. The initiative aims to expand access to quality higher education in the region.
Dr S. Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, attended the ceremony alongside the Administrator of DHA Islamabad. Experts and officials from various academic fields also joined the event.
New Campus to Expand Access
The new campus will serve students from Islamabad and Rawalpindi. It will also create opportunities for students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern areas.
