AI Seekho 2026 Empowers Pakistan’s Next Generation of AI Builders with Google
Winners of AI Seekho 2026 celebrate after showcasing innovative AI-powered solutions at the national finale.
Google, in partnership with the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT), Telenor Pakistan, and Innovista, has concluded AI Seekho 2026, one of Pakistan’s largest artificial intelligence initiatives for developers. The programme showcased Pakistan’s expanding AI ecosystem and encouraged thousands of participants to build practical solutions using advanced AI tools.
Environment Conference 2026 to Unite Pakistan’s Sustainability Leaders in Karachi
More than 50,000 developers joined the initiative, while over 17,000 registered for the programme. In addition, participants submitted more than 1,500 AI-powered projects using Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity. At the national finale, teams competed for prizes worth PKR 2.5 million, including a grand prize of PKR 1 million.
Growing Interest in Artificial Intelligence
The initiative reflected Pakistan’s rising interest in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. Moreover, it encouraged participants from different educational and professional backgrounds to transform ideas into working AI products.
Professionals made up 40 percent of participants. Meanwhile, women accounted for 25 percent of total registrations. As a result, the programme highlighted broader participation in Pakistan’s technology sector and demonstrated greater access to advanced AI tools.
Karachi Team Wins the National Championship
Team Struggler from DHA Suffa University, Karachi, secured first place and received the PKR 1 million grand prize.
The team created Struggler, an AI-powered single-player game built with Google Antigravity. The game automatically adjusts its difficulty according to player behaviour, creating a personalised experience. Consequently, the judges recognised the project for its innovation and technical excellence.
Hazir Claims Second Position
Team Nurture, representing Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, earned second place and received PKR 650,000.
The team developed Hazir, an AI-powered platform that simplifies booking everyday services. It interprets customer requests, matches service providers, manages job assignments, and handles ratings through autonomous AI agents. Furthermore, the judges praised its strong focus on user experience.
Self-Taught Developers Secure Third Prize
Team Viberonix from Sahiwal finished third and won PKR 325,000.
The team introduced Wasila, an AI-driven marketplace for gig-worker services. Users can request services through text messages, while AI agents negotiate prices and complete bookings automatically. As a result, the project highlighted the growing impact of self-taught developers in Pakistan’s AI industry.
Builders Days to Continue
Following the competition, Google and its partners announced AI Seekho Builders Days in Islamabad and Karachi on August 8–9, 2026.
The events will provide hands-on learning opportunities for developers, students, creators, and technology enthusiasts. Additionally, they aim to strengthen collaboration and accelerate AI innovation across Pakistan.
