Karachi Police: Mobile Dealers Seek Stronger Security Measures in City Markets
Karachi Police Chief AIG Azad Khan assured mobile traders that authorities will address their security concerns and continue efforts to maintain law and order across the city.

Karachi Police Chief Additional Inspector General Azad Khan met a 20-member delegation from the Karachi Mobile and Electronic Dealers Association to discuss law and order, traders’ concerns and security arrangements in the city’s mobile markets.
The delegation, led by Minhaj Gulfam, met the Karachi Police Chief at the Karachi Police Office. Members held detailed discussions on the overall security situation, challenges faced by traders and measures to improve safety in mobile phone markets.
During the meeting, AIG Azad Khan listened to the traders’ concerns and assured the delegation that the police would address their issues on a priority basis. He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to maintaining peace and protecting businesses across Karachi.

“We remain fully committed to ensuring law and order in Karachi. Our officers have made the ultimate sacrifice to restore peace in the city,” Azad Khan said.
Irfan Butt, the nominated president of the Korangi Landhi Mobile Market Association and a leader of the Karachi Mobile and Electronic Dealers Association, briefed the police chief on the association’s upcoming market elections. He also highlighted the concerns and security issues faced by shopkeepers in the Korangi and Landhi mobile markets.
The delegation included Waqas Qureshi, Muhammad Ali, Shahzaib and other office-bearers.
Waqas Qureshi invited the Karachi Police Chief to visit the Korangi Landhi Mobile Market. Azad Khan welcomed the invitation and assured traders that he would visit the market soon to review security arrangements and address their concerns directly.
The meeting concluded with the delegation presenting the police chief with a traditional Sindhi Ajrak and a bouquet as a gesture of appreciation for the police’s efforts to improve security in the city.
