PTML Leadership Pak Telecom Mobile Limited Unveils Executive Management Team

PTML's newly appointed executive management team will lead the company's next phase of growth.
PTML Leadership entered a new era on Tuesday as Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) announced its Executive Management team following the successful amalgamation of its telecom operations.

The company aims to strengthen network leadership, accelerate digital innovation and deliver a better customer experience across Pakistan. In addition, the new management team will guide the integration of the combined business and support long-term growth.
Hatem Bamatraf to Head PTML
The Competition Commission of Pakistan directed PTCL Group and PTML to operate under separate management structures.
As a result, Hatem Bamatraf stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of PTCL. However, he will continue to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of PTML.
He previously led the acquisition process and supervised integration planning. Moreover, he helped establish the foundation for the newly merged organisation.
PTML Announces Senior Leadership
PTML introduced a leadership team with experience across telecom, finance, technology and corporate management.
Atif Raza will serve as Chief Commercial Officer and lead commercial strategy, customer growth and revenue expansion.
Meanwhile, Awais Vohra joins as Chief Technology and AI Officer. He will oversee network development, digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiatives.
Mudasser Shafiq will continue as Chief Financial Officer. He played an important role in the acquisition and integration of Telenor Pakistan.
Areej Khan will lead the people function as Chief People Officer. She will focus on talent development, leadership and organisational culture.
Shan ul Haq takes charge as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. He will oversee regulatory affairs, public policy and stakeholder engagement.
Commercial and Governance Focus
Khawaja Shehzad Ullah becomes Chief Consumer Business Officer and will strengthen PTML’s consumer business nationwide.
Similarly, Bilal Javed Bhatti will lead the enterprise business as Chief Business Officer.
Haider Latif Sandhu will continue to oversee governance, legal affairs and compliance while serving as Company Secretary.
Furthermore, Abdullah Hameed will head Internal Audit and strengthen risk management, governance and internal controls.
Company Targets Sustainable Growth
The Islamabad High Court approved the Scheme of Arrangement that completed the amalgamation under PTML.
The company believes its experienced leadership team will help accelerate innovation and improve operational performance.
Going forward, PTML plans to expand digital services, strengthen its network and create long-term value for customers and stakeholders across Pakistan.
