FFC-Yara Partnership entered a new phase as Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) joined hands with Yara International ASA to introduce advanced biological and specialty crop nutrition solutions for farmers across Pakistan.

The collaboration combines FFC’s nationwide agricultural network with Yara’s global expertise in crop nutrition. As a result, Pakistani farmers will gain access to internationally recognised plant nutrition technologies designed for local farming conditions.

Premium Product Portfolio Introduced

FFC and Yara unveiled a co-branded portfolio of advanced crop nutrition products at Sona Tower, the FFC Head Office in Rawalpindi.

The new range includes YaraAmplix Optitrac™, YaraVita Crop Boost™, YaraVita Bortrac™, YaraVita Frutrel™, YaraVita Solatrel™ and YaraLiva Tropicote™.

These products use advanced formulations that improve nutrient delivery, increase foliar absorption and support stronger crop performance during key growth stages.

Supporting Sustainable Agriculture

Pakistan’s agriculture sector faces growing challenges from climate change, population growth and environmental pressures.

Therefore, FFC and Yara developed this collaboration to provide farmers with high-quality crop nutrition solutions that improve productivity and strengthen food security.

Following scientific evaluation and field testing, both companies selected products that meet the nutritional requirements of Pakistan’s major crops.

FFC Highlights Innovation

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Chief Commercial Officer Mohammad Ali Janjua said FFC has consistently introduced innovative agricultural technologies to improve farm productivity.

He credited Managing Director and CEO Jahangir Piracha and Yara CEO Svein Tore Holsether for strengthening the partnership.

Furthermore, he said FFC will market the products under the NexGen Nutrients platform through its nationwide marketing and advisory network.

He added that the collaboration will help farmers increase crop yields, improve quality and enhance profitability.

Yara Sees Strong Growth Potential

Yara Senior Vice President Alexandre Macedo said Pakistan offers significant opportunities to improve agricultural productivity through science-based crop nutrition.

He noted that the partnership combines Yara’s global expertise with FFC’s strong market presence.

Moreover, he said the alliance will expand farmers’ access to innovative technologies, agronomic knowledge and sustainable farming solutions.

Both companies believe the collaboration will promote climate-resilient agriculture, strengthen food security and support the long-term development of Pakistan’s farming sector.
