Khairpur : The 73 rd Meeting of Advance Studies & Research Board (ASRB) of Shah Abdul Latif
University, Khairpur was held presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed
Ibupoto.
Talking to the Members of ASRB, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said we are committed to
provide quality research and innovation opportunities to our research scholars who will render
their services for the betterment of society.
The Members applauded the contribution of Vice Chancellor in the promotion of research and
development at the campus. Different collaborative initiatives in the promotion of research have
been taken by the Vice Chancellor.
After detailed deliberations, various important decisions were taken. The Minutes of 72 nd
Meeting of ASRB were confirmed unanimously. The Board allowed the extension period of 30
research scholars of M.S, M. Phil and Ph. D programs in various faculties. 10 Research
Supervisors and Co-Supervisors in various fields were appointed. 74 Research Proposals of M.S,
M. Phil and Ph. D were approved. 34 Scholars were recommended to award M.S/M. Phil
Degrees in various Faculties.
Ms. Shahida Begum, Mr. Zafar Hussain Shah, Ms. Maria Khushbakht and Mr. Waseem Ahmed
were recommended to award Ph. D Degrees in the fields of Political Sciences, Zoology and
Commerce & Management respectively.
