Karachi : The 22ndAnnual Convocation of SZABIST University (Karachi Campus) was held on 16th& 17thJanuary 2026 at Expo Centre, Karachi. The Chief Guests of the occasion were Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Chief Executive Officer, Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, and Ms. Sultana Siddiqui, President, HUM Network Limited.
President, SZABIST University, Madam Shahnaz Wazir Ali inaugurated the Convocation, and degrees were conferred upon 1,398 graduating students, including 8 PhD scholars. The graduating cohort comprised 842 Undergraduate and 556 Graduate students.
A total of 22 Gold Medals and 23 Silver Medals were awarded to outstanding students in recognition of their exceptional academic achievements. Additionally, 304 students were placed on the “Chancellor’s Honor Roll” for securing a CGPA of 3.50 or above.
The Convocation Ceremony was attended by more than 5,000 people, including members of the SZABIST University Board of Governors, Management, Faculty, Staff, Graduates, Parents, Educationists, Distinguished Guests, Print and Electronic Media, and valued Partners.
The event was covered by SZABIST Radio Broadcasting Service (ZABFM). Live coverage of the ceremony was also streamed on SZABIST University’s official YouTube and Facebook platforms, enabling a wider audience to witness this prestigious academic milestone.
