The President of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus 2022-23 Zubair Baweja chaired the first meeting of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus in which they discussed upcoming events and projects. The meeting was held at Founder & Secretary Aslam Khaliq’s residence.
The first meeting of RCK Nexus was attended by the Board of Directors and Members including; PP & PAG Kausar Aslam, PP Muhammad Ali Haider, Sr. Vice President Comdr. (R) Akbar Naqi, Vice President Syed Turab Shah, Elected President Nominee 2023-24 Dr. Khalid Hussain Sheikh, President Nominee 2024-25 Junaid Hamid, Naghat Arshed, Perveen Khan, Javed Zaidi, Ch. Ansar Javed, Shoaib Arif, Junaid A. Kader, Muhammad Fawad Sheikh, Syed Khurram Anis, Shazia Advani, Shanzeh Zainab Haider, Rizwana Shahid, Salman Javed, Tazeen Ali, Shamim Ahmed, Saima Naqi, Arshila Hussain, Saima Naqi, Urooj Haider, and Roshan Afzal.
An agenda of the first meeting of RCK Nexus on 5th August 2022 is unemployment, illiteracy, education, health problems as well as energy crises. Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus to provide tube wells, ambulance service, water filtration plants, and solar energy in these rural areas to raise their standard of living while establishing cattle farms for agriculture and livestock breeding.

Address meeting Zubair Baweja said we need to support education through scholarships, donations, and service projects around Pakistan. He added providing free education for needy people and making schools healthy to providing clean, fresh water to every public school in Pakistan so students can be healthier and get a better education.
Further, Zubair Baweja said, our President of Rotary International Jennifer Jones expressed thoughts during a visit that Rotary is constantly trying to improve people’s lifestyle and economic situation through welfare projects. Rotary has rendered valuable services in Pakistan, now it is time to start new welfare projects with new commitment from the platform of Rotary in Pakistan.
