KARACHI: Ziauddin University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), marking a significant step toward promoting a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free educational environment.

The collaboration aims to enhance institutional mechanisms for awareness, prevention, and redressal of harassment cases, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff can learn and work in a respectful and dignified setting.
Under the agreement, both institutions will work jointly to strengthen policies, provide training programs, and improve support systems for individuals facing harassment. The initiative is expected to raise awareness about rights and responsibilities while encouraging a culture of accountability and mutual respect within academic spaces.
Officials highlighted that the partnership reflects a broader commitment to safeguarding individuals against workplace and campus harassment, aligning with national efforts to promote gender equity and institutional transparency.
