[Lahore, 23rd April 2026] Following the release of its first song, Hairan Amanam, to much acclaim, global music platform Humnava now unveils its second release from Season 1, Noor-e-Nazar, continuing its journey of bringing together music, culture, collaboration, and place in one deeply immersive artistic experience.

Noor-e-Nazar, is an Urdu love song that reflects a marriage shaped by tenderness, equality, and shared becoming. Recorded live at Gulmit Old House in Gulmit, Hunza Nagar, the song draws from Hunza’s cultural traditions, including a local marriage ritual in which the couple makes roti together to officiate their union, a symbolic act that speaks to partnership, vulnerability, and the strength of growing side by side. In doing so, Noor-e-Nazar becomes not just a song about love, but a meditation on companionship as a quiet and enduring force.

Produced and curated by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak, who also brought the soulful vision of Jhol to life, Noor-e-Nazar serves as the emotional spine of this chapter of Humnava. The track features vocals by Noman Asmet and Noorima Rehan, and brings together a rich ensemble of musicians including Sherry Khattak, Amine Laroug, Melvin Arthur, Muhammad Hunaid, Adnan Karim, Lina Belaid, Blaise Merlin, and Dorian Jonas Goetsh. In keeping with Humnava’s larger vision, the song itself becomes a global act of creation, bringing together artists and instrumentalists from Pakistan, Algeria, and Europe in a composition that feels both intimate in its roots and expansive in its reach.

Speaking about the release, Co-Founder and Creative Director Xulfi said, “When we had just started working on Humnava, and we knew Hunza was going to be the first chapter, we were researching to find out more about the magical place. During that quest, we found out about the beautiful ritual where the newly wed couple in Hunza, on the first day together, mark the beginning of their journey by making a roti together. For the locals there, it was a norm, but for me, this stayed in my heart because it’s such a wonderful way to create a solid foundation for a relationship; one that says that we are in it together and we will make it happen together. That’s also the spirit of companionship and love. From there, it was just natural for me to realise that I want to create a love song, based on this simple yet deep ritual.

I also feel that in relationships, people tend to forget the idea behind why a connection works, what makes love honest and real – it’s companionship, friendship. I just felt that maybe we can remind people of that simple idea of love through Noor-e-Nazar, and now we are here, the song is there for the world to witness.

With Noman and Noorima, both from Hunza, singing this, I feel that we found the best voices for this delicate topic and melody. And I’ve to give a shoutout to the entire Humnava musicians who created a heaven of an arrangement for this as well as to Ali Shjr and Imran Hunzai with whom we wrote the song. I’m happy that through this process, so many people from different parts of the country and also of the world got to know about this wonderful symbol of a ritual from Hunza, Pakistan.”

Written by Shajar Hussaini, Imran Ullah Hunzai (Ramz), Ali Raza, and Xulfi, the song is composed by Ali Raza, Shjr Hussain, and Xulfi, with music arranged by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak. The track is produced and mixed by Xulfi, and mastered by Mike Hinton at MSTRD Mastering, London. The accompanying music video has been directed by Aamir Mughal, with consulting editor-director Xulfi, post-production by Mehroz Raza, grade by Leonardo Mareso, production design by Hashim Ali, art direction by Sara Vohra, and styling by Wajeeha Badar, with Ambiance Hotel Hunza as the hospitality partners.

Co-founded by Xulfi and Muhammad Ibrahim, Humnava is a global music and art platform rooted in Pakistan that brings artists from around the world together through music. Its first season, set in Hunza, brought together over 30 musicians and collaborators from Pakistan and countries including France, Germany, Algeria, and Zambia for an immersive camp built around collaboration, creative exchange, and cultural dialogue.

With Noor-e-Nazar, Humnava continues to build the world of Season 1, which will further unfold through Qataghani, Holoyor, Sway, Lost in Love, Koi Achi Khabar, Isekta, and Darmaan. Together, these songs form the first chapter of Humnava’s larger artistic journey, one that continues to move across borders, genres, and audiences while deepening the project’s vision of connection through sound.

Noor-e-Nazar is now available to watch on YouTube, stream on Spotify, and experience across broadcast platforms.
