Karachi, October 2025 : A vibrant networking session was organized by the Womenpreneur Pakistan Organization (WPO) at Theater Café, Tipu Sultan Road, to celebrate #Pinktober2025—a month dedicated to breast cancer awareness and women’s health. The event, held under the theme “Making Our Women Strong,” brought together women from diverse communities, reflecting WPO’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.

The highlight of the event was the #Meet_Irum_Fawad SDG3 Talk, focusing on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 3: “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.” The discussion emphasized reducing maternal mortality, ensuring universal access to reproductive healthcare, improving mental health, and achieving universal health coverage for women.
Guests participated in an engaging #WeHeal NLP De-stress Session led by Shireen Khan and Fatima Omer, alongside interactive segments on Breathing Yoga, Heart-Centered Healing, and Healthy Choices by Experts. Emotional and inspiring Talks with Cancer Survivors shared powerful #CourageStories about overcoming fear and rebuilding life after cancer.

In her remarks, Irum Fawad, a motivational speaker and advocate for women’s health, highlighted the need to strengthen networks that support women’s physical and emotional wellness. “Together, we can heal, empower, and transform communities by promoting awareness and access to better healthcare,” she stated.
The session also spotlighted new insights in women’s health:
Breast Cancer: Emerging antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) show promise in extending survival rates, while combining tamoxifen with (Z)-endoxifen enhances treatment outcomes for younger women.
Mental Health: Global studies indicate rising cases of depression, anxiety, and PTSD among women, particularly in conflict zones.

Maternal Health: Despite global progress, disparities persist—especially in crisis-affected regions, where maternal mortality remains alarmingly high.
Digital Health: Technology continues to empower women by improving access to healthcare services, maternal support, and essential health information.
The event concluded with gratitude to the Theater Café staff for their excellent hospitality and to Ali Hasan of ABD Studios, the official photographer, for capturing memorable moments.
Through this impactful initiative, WPO reaffirmed its mission to uplift women, promote health awareness, and encourage community-driven wellness.
