Webinar organized by TDAP & Commercial Section South Africa

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Commercial Section South Africa organized a Webinar “Exploring Business Opportunities for Packaging Industry in the African Market”. Trade & Investment Attaché South Africa Ms. Humaira Israr welcomed the participants and elaborated current market dynamics of South African packaging trade. Dr Mazhar Javed, High Commissioner of Pakistan to South Africa addressed the packaging industry and highlighted the bilateral trade opportunities. Ms. Shukaiba Ghafoor, Assistant Director TDAP gave insights into the Packaging industry of Pakistan, Trade dynamics and potential of trade between Pakistan and South Africa. Mr. Hanif Dosani (Continental paper and packaging from South Africa) elaborated on current demand of the packaging industry of South Africa, challenges in trade and the way forward to increase the bilateral trade with Pakistan. Further, contact details of business counterparts from both sides were shared and positive feedback for trade growth and new business opportunities between Africa-Pakistan business counterparts is received.
