The suggestions of traders and industrialists will be considered in the federal budget of the year. These views were expressed by Provincial Minister of Industry and Commerce Punjab and Patron General of United Business Group SM Tanveer while talking to Patron General of Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association (PFVA) Waheed Ahmed along with the delegation. Chairman UBG Shahzad Ali Malik, former senior vice presidents of FPCCI Khalid Tawab, Akhtiar Baig, former vice presidents Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry, Noor Ahmad Khan, Aslam Pakhali and others were also present. PFVA Waheed Ahmed apprised the provincial minister about the important problems of the fruit and vegetable exporters sector and suggested their solutions, laying great emphasis on research and development for future development. Waheed Ahmed said how the Kano crop is affected, the quality problem, several diseases and over-reliance on only one variety for many decades have caused problems, so there is a need to develop new varieties.
