KARACHI – Water war is at our door steps.We have completely failed to manage our waters at the national level.Water is reducing in our country with a fast speed and it may soon become a problem to provide water to our Agri sector which is very dangerous and threat to our food security. Water oriented industrial units are also closing due to dire shortage of water and cost of water supply to industry is more than the product value it self.
We need to adopt alternate methods to save waters and then use with great care. RND is also most important to find best ways to get maximum yield of our crops with minimum waters.We also need to built those dams which can play a role big reservoirs and supply water when needed and save land’s & animals from the disaster,said by Mr Iftikhar Ali Malik UBG Chief and Chairman Guard Group. He added that migration of people from rural to urban areas is also eliminating the resources of larger towns which must stopped by improvement of infrastructure at rural areas.
