KARACHI, May 2024: Leaders of the United Business Group (UBG), including S M Tanveer, Zubair Tufail, Hanif Gohar, and Syed Mazher Ali Nasir, have expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the tragic demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his Foreign Minister, Amir Hossein Abdollahian, in a helicopter crash.
The UBG leaders praised the late President of Iran as a great leader, visionary, and scholar who made significant contributions to the promotion of bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Iran. They noted that Pakistan has lost a time-tested friend and a strong ally.

The UBG leaders extended their condolences to the government and people of Iran, praying for the departed souls and wishing strength and courage to their families and the nation to bear this irreparable loss.
