UPPER CHITRAL: Various sports trials ended in Upper Chitral district. On the instruction of the Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khalid Khan, the trials of the inter-constituency games continued for three days at Gahli Playground Boni of Upper Chitral district, in which Member Provincial Assembly Constituency PK -1, focal Person Hidayatullah, ADC Upper Fidaul Karim, District Sports Officer Usman, President and coaches of Cricket, Volleyball and Football Association also participated.
Talking to our correspondent, Usman, District Sports Officer of Upper Chitral District, said that on the instructions of the Provincial Sports Department, a trial was conducted among football, volley ball and cricket players in their constituency and competitions were held. The players who are successful in this i.e. who will be the winner in their circle will be given the opportunity to represent at the district level, after that they will play at the regional level and after passing through all these stages, these players will be sent to the provincial level. where they will participate in the provincial level competitions. Mohammad Usman says that these players will represent their region in the provincial level games. He said that the players who participated in these three games The age limit was kept up to 29 years. After the trial, the team selection takes place. There is no other constituency in Chitral Lower and Upper. Just like in Swat, Peshawar etc. there are different constituencies within the same district because there are more population there are many members of provincial assembly in the same district but Chitral currently has only one MPA.
DSO Upper Chitral Usman while talking about its procedure said that first these games are played between the circles in this trial and then they will become champions at the district level. Lower and Upper Chitral have one constituency, so the Sports Minister and Director General gave us a task to conduct trials in these sports for this constituency. Based on this, separate teams will be selected in Upper Chitral district and separate teams will be selected in Upper Chitral.
According to Usman, many players have given trials in football, a regular selection committee has been formed for their selection and this committee includes many expert players, 16 players will be selected. are taking two officials. Similarly in cricket also 16 players and 2 officials i.e. staff are taking. While in volleyball only 12 players and two officials will be selected. As the winter season starts very early in Upper Chitral, in the month of October, people from here go to the down districts and spend the winter there. Very few people live here even famous players also go to down districts. Three hundred players participated in these trials. In response to a question, Usman said that we have a lot of talented players, we have good players and hope that our players will give their opponents a tough time. That means they will compete well with their opponents. Now this team will be selected based on merit and I am hopeful that the Chitral team will be become champions in these competitions. In his message to the young generation, he said to come to the field and show their talent by using games skills and show people how much you are talented.
