Muzaffarabad: A terrible accident occurred in Muzaffarabad city of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) when a jeep with passengers on board fell into a ditch and 13 people lost their lives in this terrible accident. It happened at Devlian and four of them received injuries. It was also corroborated by Rescue 1122, who shifted the dead body as well as the injured people to nearby medical facilities immediately.
The recent intermittent monsoon rains with stormy and gusty winds as experienced in Pakistan’s AJK recently impacted parts of Mirpur, Mangla, and Chaksori. While the temperatures were relatively pleasant there were more rain showers, and these instances could have led to the accidents including the fatal one.
Police are still investigating the details of the tragedy that befell the community, and the society is mourning for the loved ones who lost their lives in this heartrending tragedy.
