UBG Sind Region have congratulated all Women Chambers Of commerce and Industry
and their members for their outstanding efforts in uplifting the image of women. In
their message on the eve of women’s day being celebrated on 8th March every year
they further said that UBG has always been very supportive to women entrepreneurs
who significantly contribute in economy and socioeconomic sectors.
They further elaborated the women’s day raises awareness of topics like gender equity,
reproductive rights, violence and abuse against women. In addition this day also voice
against the other pressing problem and challenges being faced by the women. They said
the role of women in Pakistan history was exceptional and will always be remembered.
It is encouraging that the women entrepreneurs in Pakistan in every sector of economy
progressing. Pakistan has a talented pool of women in medical engineering and
education sectors as well and their services are recognized world over. The women in
sports are also making progress.
In their message they said that every women making contribution to her family
economically and upbringing the talented generation. They are contributing in different
forms and in the times to come the role of women will further flourish in Pakistan.
They also highly appreciated the role of Samina Fazil chairperson of WCCI UBG wing,
Maryam Chaudhar, Rizwana Shahid , Naheed Masud, Syeda Saeeda Bano, Rubina
Amjad, Ambreen Hoti, Farzana Burni, Shabnam Zafar and others.
