The birth anniversary of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha was celebrated in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Library Lehal Kalan.

Lehal Kalan, August 30 – On the occasion of the 162nd birth anniversary of the famous Punjabi scholar Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha, a special program dedicated to his memory was organized at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Public Library Lehal Kalan.Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan shed light on the life and literary contribution of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha ,through his special lecture. Former Assistant Professor of Music Department of Punjabi University Patiala, Dr. Ravinder Kaur Ravi presented the book of Bhai Kahan Singh’s poetry collection “Gitanjali-Harivrijes” edited by her to former Sarpanch Darshan Singh Sarao and Gurvinder Singh Babla for the library. Established a beautiful poster (picture) of Bhai Kahan Singh in the liberary and young leader Dr. Karamjit Singh Bakhora,was honoured the chief guest of this program Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan and Dr. Ravinder Kaur Ravi with a poster of Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh revolutionary ideology.During the program, elders of village Lehal Klan including former soldier Thholu Gurmail Singh, Teja Singh Khalsa, Manish Sharma, Harpreet Singh, Baldev Singh were present.
