KARACHI: Chairperson of UBG Women Wing Sindh Rizwana Shahid’s elder brother Syed Saleem Ahmed Zaidi passed away here on Wednesday.
According to details, Syed Saleem Ahmed Zaidi is Former Caretaker Provincial Minister for Local Government, Katchi Abadies & Spatial Development. Funeral prayers of the deceased will be offered on Thursday. Rizwana Shahid has appealed for forgiveness of the deceased.
Later, businessmen and other officials have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. He prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the deceased soul in peace and give the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give courage to the deceased family to bear this loss. May Allah rest his soul in peace. May Allah give Patience to his family to bear the irreparable loss, Aameen.
Syed Saleem Ahmed Zaidi was Member CAA Board by the Federal Govt. on 10 Mar 2008. He belongs to the business community and is the owner of Glamour International Pvt. Ltd (manufacturer & exporter home textile), various Marriage Halls and Ramada Builders & Developers. He remained Member Board of Directors of Port Qasim Authority from 2004 to 2006 and Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) from 2003 to 2006. He was also Justice of Peace, Clifton Town from 2004 to 2006. He is Former Member Board of Directors of State Cement Corporate (SCC). He was Caretaker Provincial Minister for Local Government, Katchi Abadies & Spatial Development from Nov 07 to Apr 08, 2008.
