A nationwide strike has been announced today by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan – TLP against rising inflation in the country.
Shops and businesses are closed in Karachi’s Baldia Town, Ittehad Town, and surrounding areas after Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan – TLP declared a strike.
The business closed in various areas of Karachi.
A religious party is protesting on the road from Baldia Qaim Khani Colony to Orangi Town, the protestors have blocked the road by burning tires and erecting barricades.
Some hotels are closed in Kharadar, Burns Road, Old City area of Karachi, while public and private transport is also less visible on the roads.

The traffic police said that workers of a religious party protested at Coast Guard Chowrangi, Korangi due to which the traffic flow was affected in the surrounding areas.
Traffic police say that the traffic has been provided an alternative route from Korangi 2 1/2 through the side streets.
Shops are also closed in Nawabshah, Sajawala, and Dadu.
Meanwhile, in Nawabshah, Chakra Bazar, Market Road, Skarund Road, and Qazi Ahmad Shah are also closed and traffic is less than usual.
In Sajawal, public parks, and commercial centers including the main bus stop, hotels, and petrol pumps are closed.
Business is closed at Shahi Bazaar, Station Road, Mobile Market, and other places in Dadu.
Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran Khushab’s declaration of detachment from the strike.
Leaders of Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran Khushab have announced their withdrawal from the strike and all business centers in the city are open as usual.
According to the general secretary of Central Anjuman Tajran, there is no strike by Central Anjuman-e-Tajiran in Toba Tek Singh.
