Lahore: Secretary General Pakistan Federation Baseball and Vice President Baseball Federation of Asia Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, Chairman Punjab Cycling Association Moazzam Khan Clear Secretary Prince Shahzad Butt, Hafiz Shahid and Coordinator Amjad Nawaz Khan met with Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal, A special meeting has been held with the delegation in which the provision of baseball ground in Punjab and upcoming tournaments were especially discussed because along with baseball being an Olympic game, the path of rapid development in Pakistan is on the way.
Syed Fakhar Ali Shah and Moazzam Khan Clair thanked DG Sports Punjab and expressed hope that under their shadow not only Baseball & cycling but all games and especially the athletes will have a bright future. On this occasion, a bouquet was presented to DG Sports Punjab.
After the meeting, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, in a conversation with the secretary women’s wing of the federation and vice president Sindh Baseball Association Aisha Irum, said that DG Sports is keen to promote and popularize other sports including Baseball and cycling in Punjab.He told the delegation that along with these initiatives, it would be a top priority to identify the sportsmen in collaboration with the associations in Punjab and provide them with a platform at the national and international level.
