Karachi: For the first time in the country’s history Star Marketing organized the “Star Property Expo” in 11 major cities of Pakistan at the same time, starting from 17-18 June at 11am to 11pm, property buyers will be provided with a discount of Rs 2 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
In this regard, Star Marketing officials include; Managing Director Akhlaq Ahmed, COO Star Property Expo Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Senior Regional Director Ghias Anwar, and Deputy Regional Director Nauman Javed addressed a press conference at Karachi Press Club and said that the Star Property Expo will continue for 2 days in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Hyderabad, Sialkot, and Mirpur Azad Kashmir.
MD Akhlaq Ahmad said that Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori will inaugurate the expo at a local hotel in Karachi.
To a question, he said that people trust Star Marketing and know that their investment is safe. Star Marketing completes the project by obtaining NOC from the concerned bodies. He said that there is no doubt that there are economic difficulties and it is a time of trial, but the purpose of this is not to sit on our hands, we have to play our role. He said that due to the non-availability of loans from the IMF, it is a time of trial in which everyone has to play their part. The purpose of the Expo is to end the depression. He said that although efforts were made to promote real estate in the previous government, a lot still needs to be done. He said that 70 other sectors are connected with the construction industry, if the construction industry develops, the rest of the sectors will also benefit. He said that there is a need for 1 crore 20 lakh units in the country and it is increasing by 10 lakh every year.
To a question, he said that some people invest in the property sector and some people buy property for personal residence. People in different parts of the country have different preferences in property. Some invest in houses and some in shops and showrooms. He said that the purpose of the expo show is to drive the economy.
To this question, Akhlaq said that our team conducts surveys in Canada and other countries including Saudi Arabia, and provides information to people about property there. Overseas Pakistanis want to invest in the country, but the property they want to buy should not create any problems for the buyer. Overseas Pakistanis avoid investing due to fake property business. He said that the provision of loans for the construction or purchase of property by HBFC is a good scheme and it has helped people in the construction or purchase of houses. He said that people living abroad buy property in those areas of Pakistan, with which they have ancestral connections, in this regard, people inform their family members after buying property by transferring capital. He said that Star Marketing offers properties for purchase in Clifton, Sarjani Town, Nazimabad, and other areas.
To a question, he said that the talk of the country being in default is not true in any way, we should reject such news, and in any case, the country should be taken out of default.
Mehmood Ahmad Khan said that Star Marketing has started marketing in the whole country, despite the economic crisis, we have decided to organize the expo. The purpose of this expo is to improve the conditions of the country, when the economic crisis, people are facing problems. Mehmood Ahmed said that we are trying to get the wheel of the economy moving again, these property shows will help to get out of the crisis and reach the destination of economic stability.
Further, he said that Pakistani builders and developers are confident that with 24 crore people and abundant resources, we can rise again.
