Karachi : Social organization Sakan-e-Sheza Trust organized a ceremony on the occasion of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day. While on this occasion information about the Sakan-e-Sheza Shelter Home was also provided. The business community, media representatives, social figures and other participated in large numbers on this occasion.
Founder President of Sakan-e-Sheza trust Erum Saaim, General Secretary Saaim Tasleem, Mehreen Moton, Muneeza Haji Yaqoob, Zillehuma and other officals performed duties of hosting.On the occasion of the event, District Governor Rizwan Adhia, renowned businessman Feroz Ali Kamdi, D.Razzak Head of Co-operative Communications, Official Spokesperson Sui Southern Gas Company A.Siddiqui, Country Head of Salman Foods Sarfaraz Ahmed, CEO Habib Metropolitan Bank Mohammad Shoaib Ibrahim and personalities from different walks of life were also present.
The renowned businessman Feroz Ali Kamdi presented gold earings to the differently able women present at the event as a gift and also announced to give complete furniture for the Sakan-e-Sheza Shelter home for the differently abled women.Founder President of Sakan-e-Sheza Trust Erum Saaim said “Pakistan has been achieved as a result of millions of great sacrifices, whose protection and development is the responsibility of us all”.
She also said that the differently abled people also play a major role in the development of the country. Despite the differently abled women suffering from physical disability they still server the country and offer their services for the betterment of the country. Even disability cannot be a hindrance to the advancement of special women!Also quoted by the Founder President that “Everyone has to play their role for the development and prosperity of Pakistan, under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan was created so that everyone has the freedom to live according to their beliefs and religion. This glorious state was created by the sacrifices of many people in which women also played a major role. Women like Ms. Fatima Jinnah and Begum Rana Liaquat played a significant role and sacrificed their life and wealth for the establishment of Pakistan”.
14th August reminds us all of the sacrifices done by our elders and lets all take a pledge today that we will protect our motherland and take it to greater heights!The District Governor of Rotary 3271 Rizwan Adhia said that the special person are an important part of our society for which Rotary International is taking many steps to impower them such as providing them with facilities.Renowned Businessman Feroz Ali Kamdi said that special women are offering their services alongside men in various fields, which is worthy of praise.Sarfaraz Ahmed, Country Head of Salman Foods, said that there is a need for quota of government jobs reserved for the special persons only this will help solve their unemployment problems. He also said that specially abled home chefs can also help the food industry grow.Head of Co-operative Communications and Official Spokesperson, Sui Southern Gas Salman A.
