HYDERABAD: Ten days have passed when some miscreants duly supported and patronized by SHO Gulab Leghari Qurban Mallah committed blasphemy by throwing out the wooden ‘Mimber-e-Rasool SAAW’ out of the Auqaf Department mosques attached to the Roza-e-Athar of Masooma-e-Sindh Bibi Pak Mahem (S.A.) situated in Agamkot, District Badin on December 28.
This heinous act of these miscreants was a follow-up of incidents of harassment of the Zaireen of Bibi Mahem (S.A.) with the alleged support of the SHO Gulab Leghari Qurban Mallah who remained a silent spectator of these happenings.
Continuous protests are being staged by different Anjumans and Tanzims against this tragic and shameless incident but the District Administration Badin has not yet taken notice of this blasphemy act rather they are trying their utmost to provide protection the SHO Qurban Mallah and are also actively trying to suppress this matter by using force.
Meanwhile, an emergency meeting of Azadari Coordination Committee Hyderabad was held here Friday (January 06) under the chairmanship of Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars at the residence of Muhammad Waris Abbasi in Al-Mustafai Town, Qasimabad.
Condemning the sad and shameful act of “blaspheming the Holy Prophet” in the meeting and the efforts of the police to suppress the issue by using force to support SHO Qurban Malah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, Home Secretary Sindh, IG Sindh and all security agencies were requested to take serious notice of this situation and immediately take legal action against all miscreants including SHO Qurban Malah.
The meeting also deliberated upon the plan of protest demonstrations outside the press clubs in cities across Sindh province against this sad and shameful act of insulting the Holy Prophet’s Mimber with the support of SHO Gulab Leghari Qurban Mallah.
