Karachi :A large number of senior citizens, special children and people from different walks of life participated in the ceremony organized on the occasion of Christmas at the Senior Citizen Home Darulsakoon.
The children received great applause with tableau and religious songs, Christmas dramas and various performances while blind musician Atif enthralled the audience with his extraordinary performance.
Speaking at the event, International Lawyers Forum (ILF) Chairman Nasir Ahmad Advocate said that the performance of senior citizens undoubtedly inspires the younger generation to organize and manage. The way the senior citizens live here like a family is created by the FMCK sisters and related staff.
Science and technology have developed a lot, but the hearts of people cannot be won by this modernity. The Chairman congratulated all the sisters and staff of FMCK on Christmas.
The function was also addressed by Sister Fazilat, Sister Nargis, Sister Catherine, Sister Elizabeth, Sana Yaqoob, Father BirnaDispoyo, Hindu Community’s Mukesh Kumar and others in charge of Senior Citizen Home of Darulskon.
At the end of the function, Sister Nargis thanked all the guests and participants and announced to organize more extensive Christmas celebrations next year while foolproof security arrangements were also made.
At the end, special prayers were offered for the martyrs of Pakistan Army, Rangers and Police, for the safety of the country and the nation.
