KARACHI – Senator Krishna Kumari and Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Veerji Kolhi called on Provincial Minister For Energy Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh at the Sindh Energy Department office and discussed the Thar Coal Power Project.
On this occasion, it was agreed to relocate 185 residents of “Bao Jo Thadd,” a village in Thar affected by the Thar Coal Power Project. The company working on the coal power project will provide a subsidy of Rs. 500,000 per household to facilitate all the families in the relocate them with basic needs and necessities.
Senator Krishna Kumari and Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Veerji Kolhi appreciated the work on various projects of Thar Coal Power and said that the Thar Coal Power Project was the embodiment of the dreams of Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto and a it is practical picture of fulfillment Pakistan’s energy needs.
