Karachi- 29 Dec 2022 The event started with the name of Allah from his poetry book “Guraiz Pa Mausmon Ki Khushbo”.
The author Senator Irfan Siddiqui stated that people know me as an analyst, as columnist but this is the first time I am introducing my work as a poet. This book is really close to my heart and it has everything for the reader, whether it is related to loved one or whether it is related to politics. Since I am also part of senate, I have also added flavor of parliament sessions.
Poetry has its own soothing effect and when a person is absorbed in its magic, its difficult to come out of it. Similarly, it happened with me, and I waited my entire life to express how I feel to the entire world.
Different participants read different excerpts from his poetry book and praised how they were mesmerized by Senator Irfan Siddiqui’s work. In Senator Irfan Siddiqui’s concluding remarks, he thanked all the participants for their presence and making this book launch event of “Guraiz Pa Mausmon ki Khushbo” a success.
