Seizure of about 6 tons of mainpuri Gutka by District police Mirpurkhas during raid on a factory owned Aftab Malik,the most notorious Gutka/mainpuri dealer of Mirpurkhas.

Karachi Mirpurkhas – On 18.09.2023 the district Police Mirpurkhas conducted a raid on a Gutka/mainpuri factory, ran by a notorious Gutka dealer, Aftab Malik, arrested 01 Abdul Rauf Laghari, while the 03 others namely Aftab Malik, Mashooq Leghari and Mumtaz Leghari succeeded to escape from the scene.

The recovery contains Gutka /mainpuri weighing 5842 with a net worth of about Rs. 80 lacs. The recovery of such a huge stock is back breaking success against gutkha/mainpuri sellers in the district.

The factory has been sealed. FIR vide Crime No 144/2023 u/s 4,5,6,7,8 Gutka Act has been registered against the above named 04 Culprits with police station Sattelite Town of the district.

Raids are being carried out to arrest the remaining accused.
