Karachi, 6 October 2025: Security Papers Limited (SPL) has reaffirmed its commitment to
community well-being by donating state-of-the-art medical equipment worth over Rs 2.8 million to
Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau Civil Hospital (Civil Hospital Karachi).
These advanced machines will significantly enhance diagnostic and treatment services across the
hospital’s cardiology, dermatology, medical, and surgical departments.
To mark the occasion, SPL’s team, led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Imran Qureshi, along with
Yasir Ali Quraishi, Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer and Rabia Zulfiqar, Senior
Manager Communications visited Civil Hospital Karachi to formally hand over the equipment. The
team also toured the hospital’s newly established Dilution Centre, a vital facility aimed at improving
patient safety and medicine preparation standards.
Highlighting the need for accessible healthcare, Mr. Imran Qureshi, Chief Executive Officer of
Security Papers Limited (SPL), stated: ‘Every citizen deserves quality medical care, regardless of
their financial circumstances. Our support ensures that Civil Hospital Karachi can continue to deliver
critical care to those who need it most at no cost.’
Serving thousands of underprivileged patients daily, Civil Hospital Karachi is one of Karachi’s largest
and busiest public healthcare facilities. This contribution will strengthen its ability to provide timely
diagnoses and improve patient outcomes, particularly in life-threatening cardiac and clotting
conditions.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. S. M. Khalid Bukhari, Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, said:
