Houston TX,USA : On the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Consul General Muhammad Aftab Chaudhry and Saeed Sheikh, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association, attended a reception hosted by His Excellency Consul General Shafi Al-Atibi and the Saudi Consulate team in Houston.
The gathering was attended by the Consul General of Pakistan, Honorable Muhammad Aftab Chaudhry, along with Consul Generals of Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Indonesia, Germany, Turkey, Bahrain, and Bangladesh. Also present were Ms. Gigi Lee, Chief of the Mayor’s Office of Trade and International Affairs, officials from the U.S. State Department, and Arab community pioneer Ahmad Alyasin.
Extending warm congratulations to the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia, Saeed Sheikh wished the Kingdom continued prosperity and progress. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s National Day not only celebrates its achievements but also strengthens confidence in a brighter future.
He further highlighted the enduring brotherhood between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, rooted in shared values and history, while also acknowledging the evolving U.S.-Saudi ties as a cornerstone for global peace, stability, and prosperity.
Saeed Sheikh expressed sincere gratitude to Consul General Shafi Al-Atibi and the Saudi Consulate team for their kind invitation and warm hospitality.
