Sapphire Finishing Mills, a leading vertically integrated textile group based in Pakistan, reaffirmed their commitment to digital transformation and to becoming a leading Industry 4.0 textile operation by signing a deal for the SAP S/4HANA Fashion & Vertical Business solution with NTT DATA Business Solutions MENA.
This implementation, to be completed in the next few months, will allow Sapphire to optimize their operational costs and maximize capacity in their operations by allowing various solutions to integrate with the world’s most trusted ERP backbone.
The signing ceremony at Sapphire Mills was chaired by Mr. Yusuf Abdullah, CEO Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited. In his address, he recounted how the Sapphire family had changed the face of textile manufacturing over the last 40 years, underlining Sapphire’s intention to develop the most automated and sophisticated setup in the next few years. He added that the implementation of SAP Fashion & Vertical Business will strengthen this path.
The event was also addressed by Country Managing Director Mr. Saquib Ahmad, SAP,who conveyed how much SAPvalues the customer ecosystem, which has placed so much trust in SAP. He said that SAPwould continue to evolve to better serve the Pakistani marketby applying globalbest practices.

The deal was signed between Mr. Ismail Yusuf (SFML) and Dr. Serhan (NTT DATA), and was overseen by Mr. Shoaib Hamid (CIO, SFML) and Mr. Uzair Raoof (CEO, Biafotech).
