Jamshoro (Sept 04, 2025): Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro, in collaboration with University of SUFISM and Modern Sciences Bhitshah, organized a Seerat-un-Nabi Conference to honor the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH). The conference brought together faculty, students, and scholars from both institutions.
Presiding over the event, Vice-Chancellor SABS University Jamshoro, Prof. Dr. Arabella, highlighted the significance of integrating the teachings of the Holy Quran, particularly its message of peace, unity and positivity into academic discourse. She stressed the importance of studying the Quran with translation to better understand its relevance to modern academic subjects and social values. Dr. Arabella Bhutto emphasized the importance of leading a life rooted in simplicity, as guided by the teachings of the Holy Quran. She stressed that the Quran encourages us to adopt a humble and straightforward way of living, free from unnecessary complications, and to maintain a positive attitude towards others.

Assistant Professor at SUFISM University, Dr. Ali Murad Lanjwani, delivered an address, shedding light on the Seerat-un-Nabi and emphasizing the Prophet’s message of compassion, justice, and humility. He quoted the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai related to the message of Prophet
(PBUH) and emphasized to follow teachings in true spirit to get rid of extremism and propagate message of peace.
The faculty members including Fazal Ellahi Khan and Manzoor Solangi from SABS University Jamshoro, as well as Atta Muhammad from SUFISM University Bhitshah, also addressed the gathering.
Students from both universities enriched the event by presenting heartfelt Naats, paying tribute through devotional and spiritual poetry. The conference concluded with a Dua for peace and prosperity, followed by the distribution of sweets among the attendees.
Earlier the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto hoisted the national flag to honor the sacrifices of armed forces and civilians to commemorate the Defence Day of Pakistan She also inaugurated the exhibition organized by students depicting the portraits and paintings to highlight the importance of Defence Day.
