Ritmika 2024 Promises a Spectacular Showcase with Colapesce Dimartino, Marco Castello, Emma, Ariete, and New Talents
TURIN – The Ritmika Festival, now in its 28th edition, shifts its schedule from September to June, thereby establishing itself as the opening act of the musical season in Piedmont. This year, the festival will be hosted at the PalaExpo in Moncalieri (TO), formerly known as the Foro Boario. It will feature both renowned musicians and promising new talents. Highlights include performances by Colapesce Dimartino and Marco Castello on June 12, followed by Emma on June 13. Moreover, Ariete with Giøve as the opening act will perform on June 14. Finally, the festival will conclude with a closing party featuring Mega90 and the finalists of Ritmika Talent on June 15.
Festival Ritmika in Turin Highlights
Wednesday, June 12: Colapesce Dimartino and Marco Castello
Ritmika kicks off with an electrifying double concert. Colapesce Dimartino returns with “Lux Eterna Beach Estate 2024” following the success of their album “Lux Eterna Beach” and their acclaimed winter tour. Known for their hit “Musica Leggerissima” and the award-winning song “Splash,” the duo’s performance promises to be a major highlight.
Marco Castello, a rising star from Syracuse, will also join the stage. Celebrated for his album “Contenta tu” and his unique blend of Seventies sounds, Castello furthermore continues to captivate audiences with his latest release, “Pezzi della sera.”
Thursday, June 13: Emma
Emma, one of Italy’s most beloved artists, launches her summer tour at Ritmika. Following her latest single “Femme Fatale” and the success of “Apnea” from the Sanremo Festival, Emma is set to deliver a powerful performance. Her album “Souvenir” has already topped charts, reflecting her continued impact on the music scene.
Friday, June 14: Ariete with Opening Act Giøve
Ariete, known for her intimate “Bedroom pop” style, will grace the stage with “La Notte d’estate.” Moreover, the young artist, Arianna Del Ghiaccio, has carved a niche with her melancholic yet compelling music. Opening for her, meanwhile, is Giøve, an indie rock and alternative singer-songwriter from Turin, bringing fresh and unique sounds to the festival.
Saturday, June 15: Closing Party and Ritmika Talent Finals
The festival concludes with a vibrant closing party featuring the Mega90 party and a live competition among the three finalists of Ritmika Talent. This event, free to the public, will also include a screening of the Italy-Albania match, the first game of the 2024 German European Championships. The Ritmika Talent contest, held in collaboration with 45° NORD, aims to spotlight emerging artists, offering them a platform to showcase their skills.
In addition, Ritmika celebrates young artistic talents, with students from 500 Factory Thesign, Comics & Arts Academy Florence, contributing creatively under the direction of Noir Studio.
