Renewable energy and safeguarding nature is and should be our pressing priority. For the said purpose, the Government of Balochistan held an exclusive Seminar titled ‘Renewable and Clean Energy for a Better Tomorrow’ at the Expo 2020, Pakistan Pavilion, Terra Auditorium, Sustainability District.
As the title suggests, the seminar focused on the possibilities and potential of the future of sustainable, renewable energy and its profound impact on Pakistan and the world.
During the two-hour session, prominent speaker’s highlighted the Government of Balochistan’s interventions in various areas related to ecological development and Sustainable development.
The program commenced with a welcome address and a video presentation by the Chief Secretary, Energy Department. His remarks were preceded by a joint presentation on Renewable Energy Projects with a special focus on Concentrated Solar Power Project (CSP), by Dr. Kamran Sami and Mr. Shayan Ali accordingly.
The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session between the panel and students from various schools and educational institutions followed by concluding remarks given by Mr. Saeed Sarparah, CEO BBOIT, who thanked the panel of speakers, attendees and organizers for their time, efforts and understanding to the cause of the Eco Systems of Balochistan.
