Doha, Qatar – Qatar Executive (QE), the luxury private jet charter division of Qatar Airways Group, has once again renewed its certified operator status with two internationally recognized charter aviation safety standard providers. International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), provides standards based on the International Civil Aviation Organisation Standards and Recommended Practices; and WYVERN Wingman, while particularly popular in the USA market, follows the IS-BAO standard with additional stringent requirements. The certifications have been awarded after rigorous audits of Qatar Executive’s Safety Management System, among other critical subjects.
Both certifications offer a safety benchmark to ensure passengers fly with an operator that meets only the highest standards of air charter safety. To receive the prestigious certifications, Qatar Executive was evaluated on its operational activities and history, safety records, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including various other criteria.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Becoming certified by the highly esteemed aviation standards of IS-BAO and WYVERN Wingman truly reaffirms our dedication to the safety and comfort of our customers worldwide. Our team remains steadfast in working diligently all year round to ensure we are operating to the highest of standards, and I am proud of the achievements accomplished. Our customers can continue to fly in not only luxury but also with peace of mind gained by the recognition of these elite air safety benchmarks.”
The certifications come after a busy year for Qatar Executive, with the recent unveiling of QE’s Gulfstream G700 at the Paris Air Show last month and the launch of its latest brand campaign, “Fly in a Style of Your Own”, which continues to receive positive feedback.
