Qatar Airways Expands Network with Flights to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo
DOHA, Qatar – Qatar Airways has announced the addition of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, to its network, providing passengers with increased travel options within Africa and connecting routes to China, Europe, and the Indian Subcontinent via Doha. The new route, set to launch on June 1, 2024, will see an increase in frequencies to Luanda, Angola, from one to four weekly flights, with a combined service to Kinshasa. The airline will operate the route with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, offering 22 Business Class seats and 232 Economy Class seats. Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, highlighted the airline’s commitment to improving connectivity in Africa, emphasizing the strategic importance of the new route.
